Overruled

The judge's ruling that an objection is not correct: the question, evidence, or action is allowed. The witness has to answer or the evidence comes in.

"Overruled" means the side that objected lost that round. The witness answers, the document gets admitted, or whatever was happening continues.

The losing side can preserve their objection for appeal by stating it clearly on the record. The trial keeps going either way.
